The report, which was presented by the head of the trade union committee, Volodymir Kovalev, who headed the trade union committee for 30 years, reflected all aspects of the trade union activity, with the priority of analyzing the terms of the Trade Union Agreement of the enterprise, which is heading the list among trade unions of this group of steel makers and miners of Ukraine for the last 6 years. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the work of the trade union was recognized as "Good", by participants of the conference, which was confirmed by the Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Committee of this trade union, Larisa Podat, who was present at the conference.
The conferences also confirmed the authority of the elected chairmen of the trade union departments and the trade union committee members were elected. The chairman of the trade union committee was elected by secret ballot out of the 3 candidates included in the voting list as well.
Olena Miglans, a leading engineer of the Foreign economic affairs department, became the head of the trade union of SE “GIPROKOKS”.
70% of the representatives who attended the conference voted for her by the secret ballot.
Olena Miglans reported of the planned tasks challenging the trade union members of the enterprise she envisions and the steps for their actual implementation. The latter was welcomed by the conference attendees, who in turn expressed wishes of success in the social partnership between the trade union and the administration of the enterprise to the new trade union leader.
