From 17 till 25 August this year the Director Mr.Sergiy Kravchenko together with other
representatives of the management visited the Republic of India. The purpose of the visit was
an important event in the history of both SE “Giprokoks” and the Indian market of engineering of
steel-making plants on the whole.
In festive atmosphere the Cooperation Agreement was signed between L&T (Larsen&Toubro),
a large Indian corporation, and SE “Giprokoks”. This agreement unlocks a new future for both
companies and creates prominent perspectives for the performance of turnkey projects in the
steel-making market of India. Our sincere congratulations to our colleagues from L&T as well as
to all customers with the emergence of new powerful player in the Indian market!
From now on the Indian customers will have an alternative to perform projects of any
complexity, including very complicated and non-standard. We are confident that the new
alliance will promote not only the development of both companies, but also the development of
Indian steel-making market on the whole in accordance to objectives set by the Indian
government!
Signing of agreement in L&T office:
After the agreement had been signed there were visits to plants where in the past there had
been construction of coke oven batteries, coke dry quenching plants as well as associated
facilities, and where new projects will be performed in future. There were productive meetings
between the Director of SE “Giprokoks” Mr.Sergiy Kravchenko and representatives of Giprokoks
management, on the one hand, and representatives of the plants management, on the other
hand. The parties discussed both future cooperation and current technical issues.
